Awesome Drawn links

I gotta say you love tweening :P The links were drawn amazingly but in order for you to break that score of 4.0 you gotta really draw more and more images of links anticipation actions and reactions. You could tell in this movie you didnt have to draw very many links in order to get a few minutes done. And with 1,000 slashes made with no hits, this reminds me of fighting dark link with a sword in Ocarina of Time instead of the hammer lol You got great potential, and a developed Animators vision of how a flash should look like. Just worry about drawing together a few more images, more camera angles, and use cs3's alpha and glowing properties for those sick looking effects. And you'll be hitting front page soon enough, Not to mention I love your taste in music, Disturbed is an absolute favourite in my books. Keep it up bro, I know you can make it!

This is what real fighting movies should be like

Amazing job using Flash to its fullest. With a Dbz / Matrix fighting styles incorporated you truly made this entertaining and worthwhile to watch. You used the glow and blur effects to their max potential. Beautiful job on this one, Keep it up man you got mad talent in this business!

Few tips

Your drawings look pretty good uncolored. But You need to definately add some color then shading on top. As for your trailer I like seeing your graphics but hated seeming them fade in and out at probably what 12 or 10 fps? First thing you gotta do is add in a much higher fps. Most people use 24 or 30. I use 30 when I use sprites and 24 for mouse drawn movies. Also when you make trailers you wanna have a catchy song and a little bit of story in it. I saw no plot and J-pop isn't exactly going to make 90% of newgrounds wanna watch this. Just words of advice for you, I know you can improve you got potential.

Thank you your advice is very helpful.

Amazing job guys!

I havn't seen a fluid flash like this since 2008. Amazing job with the starting scene Stone, you really portrayed both fluid speed and bullet time actions. The scenes were bloody full of entertainment and caught my interest right away, beautiful job guys and keep it up!

HAHA

Thats jokes, i've never seen someone use family guy for flash on this site yet and it was completely funny. good job man keep it up!

Smooth, Cut clean and Sick

Beautiful job on this one. Your fps was at a nice high rate, all your tweens were precise and accurate, music suited your flash well and the killing was enjoyable to a high degree. Animation 10/10 , I know alot of people look down on artists using sticks these days but if you can pull off animation in such a manner it shouldn't matter its only saving you about 500 more hours but not drawing out a full body every frame whether it is tweened or fbfed. Great job, but I would like to know did you happen to use both tweening and fbf styles in your stick combat animations or purely tweens? Regardless Great job, keep it up man!

mexipino responds:

Yeah, most of the animation is done using FBF, but I combine tweens with them as well. Thanks for your review!

Good message

Nice movie you got there. Id like to see more animation from you though. This was mainly pictures tweened with a couple of fbf effects which were good. Music suits the flash though. And most of all your message was clear, drugs are bad but should be experimented with at least once to see the evil they can actually do to your life, sadly It takes alot more than once to allow people to see what long term effects they can give you :P Overall good job, and keep it up man

Hey good stuff

For a first flash this is great. You made good use of the as3 vcam, but you gotta watch when its disproportionate to your original screen size because it'll add width to your characters to make them look fatter, especially on the close ups. Good use of sounds as well. There were a few where It blew my ears off when Naruto summons like 20 of his copy images, you gotta watch not to over clip sound effects. You can turn them down in the effects panel in flash. Good use of sprites, only words of advice here are to line up your movie clip sprites a little closer to eachother so they dont bounce around too much. Next to that you did an amazing job as a beginning, Props man. And keep it up!

rpg-gamer-1992 responds:

thanks alot. ya this was like experimental. so i'm gonna work harder on my next ones. and i think compared to some of the stuff i've seen on ng...my sprites don't bounce around so much compared to some people:P

You got potential

I use sprites myself right now so I know how it is with animating them. Good use of a high fps, and sprite useage plus sounds. Just make your videos longer like your first spoof and you got something good there.

globep responds:

Thanks , Hyper-Shadow-Death !

Great Job!

every bit of fbf here is flawless, and camera useage is great. I can't say theres anything to improve on next to adding a story and sound effects. Your animation with sticks 10/10 , and your overall 9/10. Keep it up and try making a series next!
